getting around

All road transfers between regional airports, hotels and camps will be arranged. Extra time at the beginning and end of the itinerary allows for any incoming or outgoing flight delays that may occur.

Guests embark at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Intl Airport and fly to Vilanculos Intl Airport on the Mozambique coast. All internal flights, road and boat transfers from the airport to camps and lodges are taken care of by your AZS representative at destination.

Dugong Beach Lodge offers beautiful luxurious air-conditioned beach chalets with all modern conveniences. Indigo Bay’s Private Villas all feature air-conditioning, kingsize beds, big en-suite bathrooms and satellite TV. Gorongosa’s Chitengo Camp (managed by the Girassol group), has a romantic grand-safari atmosphere, plus a choice of comfortable villas, a swimming pool, restaurant and internet connectivity.
