Chikwenya Camp

For decades, the renowned rugged walking safari experience at Chikwenya Camp is located in a private concession on eastern boundary of Mana Pool national park, overlooking the Zambezi river banks and vast floodplains of the Zambezi River, with the mountains of the Rift Valley escarpment providing a stunning backdrop. In spite of the Camp’s beautiful Zambezi valley riverine, the Camp is densely surrounded by native forest of Zambezi figs, Natal mahogany and Albida trees, which provide deep shade in the heat of the day especially in spring, summer months and protein-rich pods are a source of food supply to many vital sustenance wildlife species
