Camp Safari Highlights

The Angama Tented Camp capture the guests overflow from main Angama Mara Camp or can be booked separate with Angama safari Camp, a sole-use seasonal mobile camp is surrounded by the mega herds of the wilderbeest, topi, zebra Migration which brings a fresh and uncluttered approach to mobile camping safari ethos in East Africa safari destination.

At both Camps, guests will find either with the camp with everything where it ought to be such as;

Camp’s Bedrooms, bathrooms and Surrounding

Located deep in a remote wilderness area of the south-western Mara Triangle this unique camps captures the romance and adventure of the glorious Golden Age of safaris, yet with a lightness of spirit and footprint that will both surprise and delight the guests. The Camps are designed in the fashion architect of duo Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, and Jan Allan, Kenya’s King of Canvas designs that portfolio the Angama Mara’s elegant and classical tented safari suites with an (11) metres wide floor-to-ceiling glass front providing each Camp with breathtaking views– no one is better than the last – and every day, the sunrise and early morning theatre as the hot air balloons float gently by.

Angama Mara welcomes children of (6) years and older, as the Camp has four sets of interconnecting tents, which allow children to move freely between their tent and their parents’ in complete safety and privacy.

Camp Accessibility

Angama Mara, is serviced by its own airstrip and it is just a mere short 45-minute flight from Kenya’s capital of Nairobi. Guests can travel on the multiple daily scheduled flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, or opt for a private and convenient charter straight from Nairobi’s main airport, Jomo Kenyatta International. Various international airlines, as well as the national carrier, Kenya Airways, offer direct flights to Jomo Kenyatta International from hubs all over the world.
