The 13-Day Zimbabwe Best of Camping safari also known as Zimbabwe under Canvas. it is a new tailor made itinerary to suit Zimbabwe Camping safari holiday experience as a destination covering superb 3 of the best game viewed National Parks in the country with a 2 day extension tour to Victoria Falls in all one package. The Camping Safari begins flying by a light aircraft to connect guests to their National Park Campsites where the safari begins to explore Camping with your Guides.
The safari start off from a local city Intl Airport and then take a light aircraft flying to a local National Park Campsites as designed in the itinerary such as at (Harare or Victoria Falls Intl Airport–Zimbabwe where the trip ends. The transfers from all regional Airports are handled on the ground with professional guides and transfer all guests to their respective hotel or Camp.
The Mobile tented safari will consist of a safari crew in number of 3-4 staff (depending number of clients in a group and of course the operating area) where the camp will be set before guests arrivals.
The accommodation style type is provided in semi-permanent Wilderness Camps featuring Meru or Bedouin style tents complete with en-suite facilities, mosquito proof netting, separate W.C.’s and outdoor bucket showers except on mentioned Camps/lodges where guests will at least stay (1)nights experiencing luxury first night of arrival.
The spacious tent interiors boast elegant finishes of Persian rugs and Chandeliers. The safari also includes luxury stay at one of the game lodges or a hotel as an extension to Victoria Falls. The large gracious tent sitting and dining areas features comfortable furniture and a choice of board games and books for whiling away the hours between or before game drives activity start.
The wildlife safari experience are done in Camps led morning and afternoon game drive experience with guides, walking safaris on foot or canoe experience.
Prefer to be on your own? This itinerary can be booked for from one to four individuals or a family, with a private guide and no other guests in the group. For this option, bookings must be made well in advance to secure exclusive use of game viewing vehicles and charter flights.

A visa is normally required to enter Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe and are obtainable upon arrival. The Zimbabwe single-entry Visa cost is currently US$55 per person for Europe, US and some other nationals – please check with the appropriate embassy before you travel. Visas are payable in cash and we recommend you bring exact denominations for the amount.
Passports must be valid for least 6 months after date of travel and have at least 3 blank (no endorsements) pages.
A new Uni-Visa for the KAZA (Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area) countries is available at US$50 – obtainable on arrival and currently covering Zambia, Zimbabwe and a day-only entry into Botswana. Angola and Namibia will soon be joining the experimental tourist UniVisa scheme.
This similar itinerary can be tailor-made for Botswana in Southern Africa although terrain contrast may differ with tourism management set up logistics.
