About This Holiday

The 14Day Best of Zimbabwe Safari Classic Camps is a newly designed tailor made itinerary to suit Zimbabwe as a destination covering superb (3) of the best game viewed National Parks in the country with a (2) day extension tour to Victoria Falls in all one package. The Safari travel mode uses light aircraft to connect guests from Camp to Camp and on arrival in Camps you explore the variety of landscape scenery with your Guides.

The Zimbabwe Classic Camps itinerary introduces guests to experience the interaction with African cultural diversity, traditions and its people in their living homes.

The wildlife safari experience are embarked on open land Cruisers or Land Rovers with a leg room designed vehicles led by a qualified professional guides who will take guest on close encounters during game drives, walking on foot or canoe leaving guests with exhalation excitement.

This itinerary is also designed to tailor-made profiled clients not keen to mingle with others on safari by requesting to have a private guide to guide them. Recommendation is that, private game viewing vehicle are booked in advanced in all camps to avoid disappointment on arrival.

Visas

A visa is normally required to enter Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe and are obtainable upon arrival. The Zimbabwe single-entry Visa cost is currently US$55 per person for Europe, US and some other nationals – please check with the appropriate embassy before you travel.

Visas are payable in cash and we recommend you bring exact denominations for the amount. Passports must be valid for least 6 months after date of travel and have at least 3 blank (no endorsements) pages.

A new Uni-Visa for the KAZA (Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area) countries is available at US$50 – obtainable on arrival and currently covering Zambia, Zimbabwe and a day-only entry into Botswana. Angola and Namibia will soon be joining the experimental tourist UniVisa scheme.

Alternative

A similar itinerary can be customised on request for exciting mobile camps in Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe wilderness areas, although there will be differences due to terrain and the varying tourism logistics in the various countries.

The spacious tent interiors boast elegant finishes of Persian rugs and Chandeliers. The safari also includes luxury stay at one of the game lodges or a hotel as an extension to Victoria Falls. The large gracious tent sitting and dining areas features comfortable furniture and a choice of board games and books for whiling away the hours between or before game drives activity start.

The Exclusivity Option

Prefer to be on youe own? This itinerary can be booked for from one to four individuals or a family, with a private guide and no other guests in the group. For this option, bookings must be made well in advance to secure exclusive use of game viewing vehicles and charter flights.

Access to Camps

The safari starts off from a local city Intl Airport and then take a light aircraft flying from camp to camp in the National Park as designed in the itinerary such as at (Harare or Victoria Falls Intl Airport–Zimbabwe where the trip ends. The transfers from all regional Airports are handled on the ground with driver guides and transfer all guests to their respective hotel or Camp.

Safari Highlights & Experience

The wildlife safari experience are done in Camps led morning and afternoon game drive experience with guides, walking safaris on foot or canoeing safaris, leaving client with great excitement.

Guest area & Accommodation styles

The accommodation style types are built in permanent tented Camps or thatch game lodge featuring all luxury en-suite facilities, mosquito proof netting, flush toilets, bathrooms and outdoor showers. Most Camps or game lodges have a swimming pool to lazy your afternoon siesta after brunch meals.

Health And Safety

  1. This itinerary travels to Camps/Lodges located in malaria tsetse fly areas.
  2. All clients are advised to visit their medical clinic or doctor to obtain prescribed anti-malaria prophylactic tablets.
  3. Zambia is in a yellow fever zone. Vaccination not obligatory but recommended.
  1. Please ensure that you consult your home physician at least 6 weeks prior to departure on safari to Africa.
  2. Southern Africa is an Ebola free Zone and clients can travel anywhere in the region without a worry
